The penultimate game of the Betfred Women's Super League Super 4s sees a rematch between Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors at AMT Headingley on Saturday afternoon live on Sky Sports, kick off 5.15pm.

After last weekend's 26-20 win over Leeds, the Warriors return to home soil to avenge their defeat to the newly crowned League Leaders as Lois Forsell's side prepare for a strong run before the semi-finals in a fortnight.

Opposition

Victory over Leeds last weekend saw Wigan Warriors add their second piece of silverware for the season as they retained their League Leaders' title with a 26-20 victory. Subsequently, the win also confirmed the Cherry and Whites would host this year's Grand Final as they aim to finish a second consecutive season with a clean sweep of the domestic honours.

An unbeaten 2026 campaign in all competitions has seen no side get close to matching Denis Bett's squad as the stars of last year's three-trophy season continue to deliver on the pitch. Veteran winger Anna Davies shows no sign of slowing down as she tops the club's try charts with 24 tries, whilst the opposite wing has seen Ellise Derbyshire exceed her 2025 tally as the winger's 16 tries this season earned her a first England cap for the recent World Cup warm-up fixture against France. Halves partners Izzy Rowe and Jenna Foubister remain the likely half-backs for Stu Barrow's England squad heading down under as they marshall Wigan around the field alongside full-back Grace Banks and hooker Remi Wilton, whilst reigning Woman of Steel Eva Hunter has also continued her destructive campaign as she scored her 22nd try last time out against the Rhinos, as well as four tries in the Cup final win over St Helens.

Now with a settled squad heading into the final matches of the campaign, the Warriors posted 56 points on derby rivals St Helens in round ten - led by two tries for Grace Banks and Molly Jones amongst the 11 tries. The result was the fourth consecutive game that the side has accumulated 40+ points and toppled a 44-6 result against the Red Vee from the opening game of the Super 4s competition.

The only sides who have come close to matching the Warriors so far this season have been the Rhinos back in round one of the regular season as well as last Saturday. The Cherry and White's managed to get the home win by eight points in the season opener - a margin that closed to just six points as the Rhinos almost reeled in a 20-6 deficit away from home. The win took Wigan to five consecutive Super League wins against the Rhinos. Since Leeds claimed a 24-4 win at the Brick Community Stadium in the final game of the 2024 regular season, Wigan have beaten Lois Forsell's side in all three league matches in 2025. At AMT Headingley specifically, the Warriors have only won twice in Super League, once in 2025 and a 23-22 result back in 2018.

An away trip to York remains in the Super 4s after this weekend, but attention will be moving later this month when they will meet either Leeds, York or St Helens in the season finale.
